Real name: Estrild Raymona Myers

American cabaret and jazz singer and pianist, known professionally as Ramona (born March 11, 1909 in Lockland, Ohio – died December 14, 1972 in Sacramento, California)

Ramona performed professionally from age 12, first in a hotel, then as staff pianist for a Kansas City radio station, and finally in vaudeville. Around 1929, she joined Don Bestor and His Orchestra as singer. She is best known for her association with Paul Whiteman And His Orchestra between 1932 and 1937. After that, Ramona fronted her own band, Ramona And Her Men Of Music, with which she released four titles on Eli Oberstein's Varsity label in 1939.
