The Hollyberries is the pet recording project of Kip Brown, guitarist and founding member of one of L.A.'s original '70s punk rock bands, SHOCK ("This Generation's on Vacation"). Born and raised in Southern California, Kip has long had a passion for surf music, and is a die-hard fan of Jan & Dean, The Beach Boys and Dick Dale. (Kip, in fact, compiled the best-selling 1989 Rhino Records release, King of the Surf Guitar: The Best of Dick Dale & His Del-Tones.) He also loves Christmas music! Hence, The Hollyberries!
