Formed in 1978, The Radiators achieved immediate success in their native Australia with a string of hits, including “Comin’ Home”, “No Tragedy”, and the always controversial "Gimme Head". Together now for over 40 years, the band has reached Rock Icon status throughout Australia, touring with the likes of AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, and INXS. The Radiators have been unable to match their local popularity internationally, perhaps due in part to confusion with the American rock and Irish punk bands of the same name. In the United States the band released material under the name "Rads".
