Synthpop project by Dirk Horst, a musician and author from Moers, Germany. Theriak was formed in 1999.
After publicly recognized by participating at two Depeche Mode tribute albums, he released his first self-produced CD It's All In Our Hands, followed by So Very Desert, "Stormy Souls" (not yet in database), "Breathe Light" (not yet in database). After a break of 6 years he released the album Yellowed Pictures, and in 2023 he released his latest album The Fortune And The Bitterness.
He is also doing remixes for other bands and participates in various projects (for example Amboo). As an author he has written a book about Synthpop ("Synthiepop - Die gefühlvolle Kälte").
