The Tramps

Members: Joe Cassar, Spiro Sillato, Domenic Grech, Carmel Portelli

The Tramps was a pop group from Gozo, Malta achieving prominence in the 1970s with their hit song Xemx. This was released under the Circle lable by R. Brizzi in 1975. Its lyrics and music were written by vocalist Dominic Grech. Xemx has remained popular and is also used as the signature tune for the Gozitan television programme Għawdex Illum. The B side had the track Lilek Irrid with lyrics by Emmanuel Ellis and music by Grech. It also featured Gozitan singer Spiro Sillato.

In 1976 they released another single, under the Canadian lable Duke's Town, which included Kif Qatt Nista and Tfulija. This single was produced by Joe Debono.
