Real name: Вера Михайловна Баева

Vera Mikhailovna Baeva was born on March 29, 1936 in Ufa in a large working-class family.
In 1959 she graduated from the Ural Conservatory (class of P. A. Nozdrovskaya).
Since 1959 - soloist of the Sverdlovsk State Philharmonic.
Since 1968 - teacher, then professor at the Ural State Conservatory.
People's Artist of the USSR (1986), laureate of the All-Union Glinka Vocal Competition. Chairman of the Musical Society of the Sverdlovsk Region at the Ural Conservatory. She was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor". Honorary citizen of Yekaterinburg (1993).
