He abandoned his musical career to become an actor.
In the fall of 2009 Christian Wunderlich announced on his website his comeback as a singer. On 19 March 2010 he released his new single "Gelacht Um Nicht Zu Weinen", a track from the album "Zwischen Den Zeilen".

For several years, Wunderlich also works as one of three researchers of the TV/radio talkshow "Domian" with Jürgen Domian.
