Dutch classical opera singer (mezzo-soprano). Born 1 January 1916 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and died 22 February 2005 in Drachten, Netherlands. Her debut was on 13 December 1941, at the Stadsschouwburg of Amsterdam. She retired in 1965, and took up a position as singing instructor at The Academy of Performing Arts in The Hague .
