Father of Romina Power and Taryn Power.
He appeared in dozens of films, ranging from dramas to comedies. In subsequent years, Tyrone Power excelled in theatrical productions. He had a fatal heart attack at 44 while filming a duel scene with his friend and frequent co-star, George Sanders, for King Vidor's historical epic Solomon and Sheba, co-starring Gina Lollobrigida and Yul Brynner.
