The Fireside Gospel Singers were Albert Phillips, Willie F. Lewis, Smith Cooper, Thomas Gilbert, Ben Vaughn and Edward Hall of Nashville, TN. They were formed in 1940 and inherited the name "Fireside Singers" in 1951 because of their singing style.
