He started his music career as a "wedding musician (in hungarian: lakodalmas zenész)" in 1970, mainly performing in restaurants, pubs, and weddings. There are an unkown number of casettes made by him performing both vocals and instruments.
His fame started to grow more in the 1990's as the country could hear him sing popular schlagers and pop songs.
He participated in the 1994 Táncdalfesztivál (literally Festival of dance music).
Most of his old casettes were republished as CD's by ArtMedia International , Hungaroton and Aréna Holding.
