Prague Percussion Project

Czech new music chamber ensemble and non-profit organization, founded in 1993 by Amy Lynn Barber in Prague and subsequently based in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Vienna, Austria. The Prague Percussion Project, also known as Percussion Plus Project, is involved in percussion performance, pedagogy, composition, and research. The project conducts an ongoing "Percussion Plus" concert series and has organized the annual Prague Percussion Days festival and numerous other events. Prague Percussion Project specializes in a unique and innovative repertoire of contemporary music for percussion instruments, often working with guest soloists and instrumentalists. The group employs eclectic percussion, including marimba, vibraphone, drums, cymbals and gongs, and many exotic instruments.
