American author and composer, some his compositions: "So Long", "Cry, Baby, Cry", "Y-O-U Spells the One I Love", "I Wanna Wrap You Up and Take You Home with Me", "Roses in the Rain", "The Georgian Waltz", "A Rose and a Prayer". He is the grandson of Joel Chandler Harris, the author of the famous "Uncle Remus" stories.
