Members: Dave Hollinghurst, Steve Shiffman, Christopher Peifer

In his native Toronto Canada, Shiffman was a founding member of indie-rock band 4-Star Movie. Upon arriving in New York City in 2001, he began to play solo shows at the Sidewalk Cafe. SSATLON developed from these performances. Shiffman began performing around New York City as a duo with original drummer Pete Hayes (The Figgs). The 5-song EP "Tambourino" was released in 2003 under Steve Shiffman's name. The duo performed regularly in and around New York City, as well as the Eastern Seaboard, the UK and France.
