Swedish tenor vocalist.

After studies at the Opera College in Gothenburg and further studies in Berlin, the Swedish tenor Pär Lindskog was hired by the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin. There he sang several roles, including Max in Friskytten, Steva in Jenufa, Narraboth in Salome and Walter in Tannhäuser, with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Michael Gielen, Simone Young and Donald Runnicles.

He sang his first Siegfried in the Royal Opera Ring Cycle, first in Siegfried in 2006/2007 and then in Ragnarök the following season. In recent seasons he has also sung Boris in Katja Kabanova and Albert Gregor in Fallet Makropoulos at the Teatro Real in Madrid; the title role in Siegfried at the Washington National Opera; Max in Friskytten, Albert Gregor in Fallet Makropoulos and Hans Schwalb in Hindemith's Mathis der Maler at the Staatsoper in Hamburg, Khovansky in Khovanschina and Guido in Eine Florentinische Tragoedie at La Monnaie in Brussels, Alwa in Lulu at Opera Australia, Steva in Jenufa and Albert Gregor at the Deutsche Oper Berlin; Hoffegut in Braunfels Die Vögel at the Grand Theater de Genève; and Grigory in Boris Godunov, Steva in Jenufa and Armand des Grieux in Henzes Boulevard Solitude at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. He has also sung the title role in Parsifal, Erik in The Flying Dutchman and Florestan in Fidelio at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. Pär also recently sang Schönberg's Gurrelieder with David Zinman at the Aspen Music Festival.

He has appeared as Florestan in Leonore at the Welsh National Opera and at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Armand des Grieux in Henze's Boulevard Solitude. He also appeared at the Glyndebourne Festival in Niklaus Lehnhoff's Janácek cycle singing Albert Gregor, Boris in Katja Kabanova and Steva in Jenufa. It was also as Albert Gregor in the Glyndbourne version of Fallet Makropoulos that Pär debuted in New York.
