Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Juan Sebastian Lima began his musical studies on the classical guitar at the Juan Pedro Esnaola National School of Music, graduating at the age of 17. He continued his studies at the National Conservatory of Buenos Aires and won first prize in the "Young Guitarists Competition" of the Jrimian Foundation.
