Santa Diver lineup was formed in 2006 by jazz violinist Luca Kézdy and multi-instrumentalist/ composer Dávid Szesztay. The newest member is drummer Dávid Szegő, who joined in 2015 (replacing Halmos András, Sárvári Kovács Zsolt and Szegő Dávid). The three instruments and personalities represent a very specific and unique musical world, at the intersection of jazz, world music and free music. They released their debut album 2009. Their sound is defined by the unusual formation (violin, bass, guitar, drums), Luca Kézdy's narrative violin, colorful basslines and energetic drums full of small events. Santa Diver has been playing many gigs in venues and festivals such as Chelsea Music Festival (NYC), European Jazz Conference (Budapest), Voll Damm Festival Jazz Vic (Spain), Gaume Jazz Festival (Belgium) and others European jazz festivals in Spain, Austria, Slovenia and Slovakia.
