Real name: نجيب السراج (Najīb al-Sarrāj)
Najib al-Sarraj (1923-2003) is a Syrian singer and composer born in Hama. He is said to be the first to compose to a poem by Nizar Qabbani. He was recording and performing from the 1940s and specialised in Syrian folkloric music, especially from the Hama region.
