Please do not mix up with the Kammerorchester BerlinIn 1939 Hans Von Benda founded the "Berliner Kammerorchester" after his tenure as artistic director of the Berlin Philharmonic. This orchestra was existing from 1939-1945 and was revived by von Benda from 1952 onwards and existed until 1973, before it was newly founded in 1994.
