Canadian pianist, conductor and music educator (* 20 June 1896 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada; † 09 April 1982 in New York City, New York, USA).He conducted at The Metropolitan Opera from 1926 to 1950 and was the first conductor of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. The Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal is named for him.
