Real name: Bengt Joel Eriksson

Swedish producer and composer, born on August 7, 1978 in Sävedalen, Partille, Västergötland.

He is one half of The Similou with Erik Niklasson. The Similou - All This Love was a pop hit for them. As a solo artist, Eriksson helped to start the Gonkyburg movement in Gothenburg. During this period, he made music as Jol. He released singles on labels like Dot and an album for April Records.

Joel Eriksson is also known for composing music for games, TV and film. He made the original theme music for the EA game Battlefield 1942. In 2006 he created the score for the Finnish-Swedish feature film '7 miljonärer'.
