1950s R&B vocal group from St. Louis. Art Lassiter sang lead, with Douglass Martin, and brothers George and Murrey Green.Originally called The Bel-Airs (no known recordings), they changed their name to The Trojans some time after Art Lassiter joined in 1954. They had one release, "As Long As I Have You" / "I Wanna Make Love To You" on RPM 446, produced by Ike Turner.
They next recorded for Federal in March 1956, and by then had changed their name to The Rockers (16).
