Acadian singer-songwriter-actor born in New Brunswick, Canada. He was a northern Atlantic Coast fisherman before kicking off his singing career that has now spanned over 40 years. A legendary ambassador of Acadian music, Lacroix was honoured with a prestigeous Order Of Canada award in 2008 for his long-standing promotion of traditionnal Acadian music, poetry and culture.
