The Trio Curupira was formed in 1996 by young musicians and composers of the state of São Paulo. The pianist, André Marques has been member of Hermeto Pascoal's group since 1994. Determined to develop a unique work, the result of musical and cultural research based on the authentic music of Brazil, they go through all kind of rhythms and break down any stylistic borders.
