German Poets is an illegal cover project, used to awaken apparent to be a side project by Christopher von Deylen and Mirko von Schlieffen for the release of latter Schiller single Ruhe. But Schiller manager Peer Jalowietzki confirmed, the German Poets single was released illegally without permission by Schiller on ZYX label. The single was withdrawn later due to copyright infringement.
The real "artist" behind German Poets is unknown.
