Four ways were a school band that formed in 1963 then later changed thier name to Frozen Tear. They became popular in and around the Plymouth area. They had appearances alongside the likes of Amen Corner and Plastic Penny, their biggest 'claim to fame' was to be on the same billing as Fleetwood Mac and The Herd at Pennycross Stadium in Plymouth, May 1969.
