Vasco da Gama was formed in 1982, the line up consisted in Carlos Jorge Miguel (guitar), Tó Andrade (bass), Gil Marujo (drums) and Luís Sanches (vocals). The first and only album was recorded between June and July 1983, produced by Carlos Jorge and Tó Andrade. The band opened for British bands Diamond Head and Spider, May 11th 1984 at the Pavilhão Os Belenenses, Lisbon. They also played several times at the Rendez Vous, two of which in June 21th and 22th.
