Swiss hard rock band from Würenlos, Aargau, formed in 1977 under the name of Steve Withney Band.The band changed its name to Steve Whitney Band in 1981.
The name comes from the nicknames of the founding members Rolf "Steve" Schulp and Christian "Whitney" Wiedemeier.
