Mood & Fun

Real name: Bennie Hulshof, Wim van Gorkum

Effective period / Period of releases: 1976 - 1981

Duo founded by Bennie Hulshof and Wim van Gorkom (a.k.a. Wim van Gorkum) in Hoogezand, Groningen, The Netherlands in 1971.
Wim van Gorkum played drums in Four Just Man and The New Beat early sixties. New Beat was related at Little Ritz and The Rocking Butterflies.
Bennie Hulshof was playing in Les Ducs.
The duo's nickname was 'De zwaargewichten uit Hoogezand' (The heavyweights from Hoogezand) due to the fact that the two of them together at one point weighed a respectable 600 Pnds.
Their combined weight with the additional instruments started to become a problem because some of the stages were not build for the kind of strain the duo unleashed and by 2006 the gigs had all but dried up.
