Jean Baptiste Loeillet De Gant

Referred to himself as J. B. Loeillet de Gant to avoid confusion with his cousin of the same name, Jean-Baptiste Loeillet of London. Little is known of his life. He was baptized on 6th July 1688 in Ghent and died most probably about 1720. 48 solo sonatas for recorder and basso continuo have survived.
