Bolivian Andean foklore guitar player.
Rafael Arias Paz is a great musician and composer from Potosí, Bolivia. Today it is considered the first Creole guitar in Bolivia.
His first professional foray was with the famous singer-songwriter Zulma Yugar, whom he accompanied with his guitar on some of his recordings. Later, in 1984, he took part in the recording of the successful album I don't love again, by the group Proyección. From 1986 he joined the famous and historical group Savia Andina, led by his brother Gerardo Arias Paz, where he has spent most of his musical career. Combining his work in Savia Andina, Rafael Arias also formed the Sentiment Duo together with Y. Ortuño, recording up to 12 albums with him.
