Daniel Kellogg

Daniel Kellogg (b. 1976) is an American composer and Associate Professor of Composition at the University of Colorado Boulder. He received BMus degree from the Curtis Institute Of Music in Philadelphia, as well MMus and doctorate degrees from the Yale University. Kellogg also studied at Aspen Music Festival, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, and Indiana University. Among his teachers were Martin Bresnick, Jacob Druckman, Don Freund, Jennifer Higdon, Ezra Laderman, Ned Rorem, and Joseph Schwantner.

Kellogg's music has been performed by the National Symphony Orchestra, The Colorado Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, San Diego Symphony, South Dakota Symphony Orchestra, Santa Barbara Symphony, Ensemble Orchestral De Paris, U.S. Marine Band, the Ying Quartet, Aspen Music Festival Contemporary Ensemble, eighth blackbird, and The Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble.
