Jerome Lloyd
Real name: Jerome Hurwitz
Jerome Hurwitz "Jerry" Lloyd (born July 16, 1920 in New York City) was an American jazz trumpeter and pianist.Lloyd played with Georgie Auld, Buddy Rich and George Wallington. From 1950 he worked as a taxi driver and played on the side again in 1956 with George Wallington and Zoot Sims.
He has recorded with Wallington and Zoot Sims, Gerry Mulligan, and Jutta Hipp. Tom Lord recorded three recording sessions from 1949 to 1954.
