The Young Lads

The Young Lads were a Doo-Wop group from Brooklyn, New York. Members as depicted on the photo (from left to right) were Aaron Broadnick (bass), James Straite (second tenor), Ronnie Watson (lead), Carl Williams (first tenor), Luther Morton (baritone). They released their only record under the name "The Young Lads", "I'm In Love"/"Moonlight" on Neil 100 in 1956. When girl singer Pearl McKinnon joined them, the group renamed itself Pearl and the Deltars (after Delta Airlines) and released one more single in 1961, "Teenage Dream" / "Dance Dance Dance" on Fury 1048.
