Hailing from Rockaway Queens, NY, The Larktones were a US vocal group known for their distinctive sound. Leroy Parrish led the group, with Jimmy Tyler, Tommy Chapman, Marvin Courtney, and Harold Burch rounding out the lineup. In 1958, they released "Nosy Neighbors" / "Why Are You Tearing Us Apart" under Riki Records (140). The same year, they dropped "The Letter" under ABC-Paramount (45-9909). Jimmy Tyler, one of the group members, is still with us today!
