Balthasar Fritsch (born around 1570 in Leipzig, died after 1608) was a German musician and composer.
About Balthasar Fritsch is known for almost nothing but his few surviving works, from which it is deduced that he studied at the University of Leipzig, played the violin and was perhaps a town-piper.
