Steve Jackson
Real name: Steve Jackson
British recording engineer who started at George Martin’s Air Studios London in 1983, rapidly moved up the ladder to engineering working at Air Studios, Montserrat and various other studios worldwide before going freelance. Worked with many artist as a 2nd and 1st engineer including, Tears For Fears, Heaven 17, The Human League, The Pretenders, Elton John, Sting, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler, Paul Young, OMD, Deacon Blue, Roachford, Simply Red, Tori Amos, Bryan Ferry, Bryan Adams, Jeff Beck and many more.Winner of 2 prestigious awards in 1990, Music week Top European Engineer award, and BASF/Studio Magazine Studio Master award, for the Album “Homelands”.
