Gölä

Real name: Marco Pfeuti

Effective period / Period of releases: 1998 - 2014

Members: Tom Beck

Gölä was born in Oppligen near Thun (CH) in 1968.

In 1998, he founded his band "Gölä & Band", consisting of himself (vocals), Zlatko "Slädu" Perica (guitar), Thomas "TJ" Gyger (keyboards), Us Frei (drums), René Maurer (bass) and Sandra and Barbara Moser (backing vocals). With the label Sound Service, a contract over 3 Swiss dialect-records was made.

Their first record "Uf u dervo" has sold over 250'000 times, making it the most successful Swiss dialect-album ever. In 1999, "Wildi Ross", the second album was released. A year later, Gölä took a longer break which ended with the end of the band. However, the 3 remaining musicians Gölä, TJ and Slädu agreed to produce the third promised record, but soon after, the group finally split up.

A restart under the name "Burn" couldn't continue the success, as Gölä decided to perform in English - a decision which wasn't honoured by the fans. Even after Gölä's new release ("Rock & Roll") in 2007, the heydays seemed over.
