Kim Cheshire's first professional band was Nimbus, formed in Norfolk before moving to London in 1971. Nimbus started playing 60' soul, recorded a couple pf glam pop singles before settling on a country-influenced rock style. The recorded a studio album with Ian Gomm (Brinsley Schwartz) which was never released, The band dissolved in 1976. Cheshire headed to the US in 1977, before settling in rural Australian in 1980. His first Australian band was The Danglin' Bros, a country rock band with a dedicated live audience in Sydney. His next band was The Wheel, who released an album of similar country-rock in 1995. Two solo albums followed.
