Vocalist / Song Writer / PerformerDaniel David Shafer, (born July 15 1959), is an American rock singer, songwriter, musician, who is known for providing the singing, character, and voice-over behind the iconic Television advertisements Transformers: Generation 2 (Robots In Disguise), Matchbox (brand) "Lightning Key Cars", Alien 3 "Space Marines", BC Powder, and more. He was the Lead Vocalist and member of the group Orphan. They released one three song self titled EP in 1983. In 2016 he appeared on NBC's The Voice (U.S. TV series), season 11. His blind audition performance of Marry Me (Train song), secured him a position on the team of Blake Shelton.
