Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra of London was a pseudonym for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra used on recordings made and released by or licensed from Westminster, mostly in the late 1950s with Artur Rodzinski conducting (most likely for contractual issues). Other conductors include: Erich Leinsdorf, Hermann Scherchen, Dean Dixon (2), Charles Gerhardt & Argeo Quadri.Not to be confused with the London Philharmonic Orchestra or the London Symphony Orchestra.
