C.F.F. E Il Nomade Venerabile

Real name: Concettuale Fisico Fastidio e il Nomade Venerabile

Members: Anna Maria Stasi, Vanni La Guardia, Lorenzo Velle, Fabrizio Lavegas, Guido Lioi, Anna Surico

The “C.F.F. e il Nomade Venerabile” are an Italian musical group originating in Gioia del Colle (BA), born in 1999 and formed by Anna Maria Stasi (voice, keyboard, scenography), Anna Surico (guitars, pedals, sequences), Vanni La Guardia (bass , percussion, second voice).
The acronym C.F.F. stands for "Physical Conceptual Fastidium". "Conceptual" for the importance attributed by the band to text research (through the use not only of the Italian language but also French, German and English); "Physical Fastidium" for the fact that the project has always crossed the boundaries of music, to weave it, often screeching with contrasts, with theater-dance and video-art.
The "Nomad" and the "Venerable" are instead the stage names of the two boys who, at the beginning, took care of the theatrical aspect of the group.
The style of the band is inspired by the Italian songwriting (Franco Battiato, Fabrizio De André) and the author's rock (Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti, Scisma, Massimo Volume); dark-new wave influences are also sensitive (The Cure, The Sound, Bauhaus).
