Real name: Izurus

Isurus is a Polish death metal band from Bielsko-Biała, formed in 2010.

Years active: 2010-2013 (as Isurus), 2013-present (as Izurus)

IZURUS was formed in November 2010 (under the name Isurus). From the beginning band was created by: Piotr (vocals / guitar), Michal (guitar / backing vocals) and Mateusz (drums). A bass player Robert joined the band in the beginning of 2011. At 2012 band appeared on these compilations: Waking the Dead vol. I, added to the Musick Magaznie #3, Silesian Butchers vol. III and also finishing demo material Outcast". In the meantime, the band played gigs in native country and also in Czech Republic with bands such as: Lost Soul, Hate, Christ Agony, Tortharry, Pandemia, Masachist, The No-Mads, Embrional, Sceptic, Sphere, Light of Dark i Thornafire. In 2013 band changed the name. In August of the same year Mateusz recorded drums tracks of four songs (Brutal Decomposing, Brain Assault, Theatre of War and Hated Kind). In In april 2014 the band parted ways with Michał by misunderstanding. He was replaced by Łukasz, who left the band after several months due to quarrel with Mateusz. In december Mateusz left the band.
Because of Piotr's family matters the band did not look for a new drummer. Since the January 2015 Piotr and Robert did not play any rehearsal. The only activity of the band was recording the tracks for "Brutal Decomposition" which was released digitally by Bandcamp.
