Ola Nyström

Real name: Hans Ola Fredrik Nyström

Swedish guitarist and vocalist, born June 11, 1960 in Bromma.

He is a member of the groups Weeping Willows and Club Killers.

Ola Nyström learned to play the guitar at the age of eleven by recording Rolling Stones songs on a tape recorder. He moved to Södermalm in Stockholm as a 19-year-old and became a member of the reggae band Calcutta Transfer. He later became a member of Stefan Sundström's backing band Apache from which Weeping Willows was founded.

Ola Nyström is also a studio musician and has participated in recordings and live performances for, among others, Johan Johansson, Lars Winnerbäck and Stefan Sundström. He made film music for the films Drömprinsen – Filmen om Em and Tsatsiki, morsan och polisen.
