Marie Morrisey

Real name: Marie Louise Keith née Bosse

American contralto vocalist

Morrisey made her concert debut in 1915 in Town Hall, New York, and was a soloist with the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. She also performed on NBC radio, and was a recording artist for Edison Records and Brunswick. She later held positions in many music and civic organizations, including the Women's Symphony Orchestra of Chicago, and the National Federation of Music Clubs (1947–1951). "Morrisey" was her first husband's last name.
