Sonja Kandels
German vocalist born in 1969. She spent her childhood in Afghanistan and West Africa. The rhythm of African music and dance have had a big influence in her life and music. Educated in Africa and Germany, Sonja graduated from Bonn's Graduated School of Arts and studied jazz singing at the Hanns-Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. The style he practices is considered Afrojazz.
