Brian attended Juilliard and Manhattan Schools of Music as a performance student of Harold Gomberg. In addition to working on TV commercials and soundtracks, he has been a member of many ensembles and has extensive performing credits.
Brian founded Charles Double Reed Company in 1984, a repair and retail shop specialized in double reed instruments.
In 2008, he founded North Conway Music Center, a community music center which offers instruments, accessories, repairs, rentals and lessons throughout central New Hampshire.
