Gordon Goudie
Real name: Gordon Goudie
Scottish multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer aka Gordy Goudie. He started in 1986 as the rhythm guitarist of The Primevals and stayed with the band until 1991, last featuring on their album Dig in 1990. After producing many artists in his studio in Glasgow, in January 2001 he joined Simple Minds working with them on the cover album Neon Lights (2001) and on Cry (2002). He then left Simple Minds in mid February 2002 a couple of months before the release Cry, rejoining briefly in 2005 as the keyboard player / songwriter of the single Home, before joining Ian McCulloch and Echo & The Bunnymen as their rhythm guitarist in concerts between 2004 and 2017 when he rejoined Simple Minds. He also continues producing artists in his studio in Glasgow.
