Effective period / Period of releases: 2000 - 2001

Papaya (hangul: 파파야) was a short-lived South Korean girl group. Formed in 2000 as a five-member group with the following members:
Cho Hye-kyung (조혜경). Also known as Jo Eun Sae (조은새).
Kang Se-jeong (강세정). Also known as Go Na-Eun (고나은).
Joo Yeon-jung (주연정). Joined from O-24.
Hwang Yoon-mi (황윤미). Also known as Go Eun-chae (고은채).
Kang Kyeong-ah (강경아)

Hwang Yoon-mi and Kang Kyeong-ah left in 2000 after the release of their 1st album and the group continued as a trio until it disbanded in 2001.
