Samantha Banks
Drummer and percussionist from Houston, Texas. Banks was a longtime drummer for blues musician Ruthie Foster from 2001 until Banks’ death on April 25, 2018 following a stroke.
Banks attended HISD High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and studied jazz at Berklee College of Music.
